i have been totally traumatised, by the change in culture, timing, weather and everything else. have stayed copped up in my room, in my house. can't stand the lack of cornflakes and orange juice for breakfast, that the sun rises after 5, sets before nine, no sale going on, no frisbeee, lack of the dry and cool weather and just everything else. need to go back to school today. sian....
on the last day of lessons, we had reassessment as well as a drama workshop. was really fun and cool. went to shop one last time, bought some clothes. many bought chocs but i din. haha, sorry my friends.
flight back was good, not stuffy at all. :D
like what nicholas said, " we have landed, but 10000km away from where we want to be." How true is that. it is gonna be at least a year plus before i can even think of going back. i miss that place so much. i wanna try to go back for london econs next year. gosh.

went to leeds castle, it was really beautiful, great water. bought some stuff from there. lots of birds, haha, sylvianne was so scared. the castle was really cool. bought some food too, reminded by val. lol. haven bought stuff for dr s and ms goh. i die la. lol. will spend tmr buying souvenirs i guess. lol. then went to canterbury and shopped, din have time to go into espirit, sian, but bought more stuff from river island, gonna miss river island when i go back. sian. going to end soon, i will really miss this place, the weather food, ppl, place and just everything thing else. haha. tmr last lesson hehre le, haix, go back to face all the promos and stuff liddat. sian. need to catch up and all, sian.

went to globe theatre, it was super duper cool. haha. really love being there and watching as a groundling. i want to go back in the future. we also went to tate modern, saw this cool collection of red paintings. it reminded me of the blue paintings that dr alfi spoke about. :D it was great, watching othello and watching it play out. bought some souvenirs, some quills, unfortunately not real ones, and a cool pair of pens. haha. it has been a great day and great trip. going back soon and i am really going to miss this place lots. girton, petrol kiosk, cambridge town... canterbury, bath and london. it's just the culture and everything thing else. our literature blog is

haha, it's national day today! at least it is for ppl who are staying at cambridge. saw lots of ppl wearing white and red. haha. we went "sight seeing" today, and it was really good and fun. i also liked our guide, he was good. haha. we also watched the tempest today, really cool and good play that we'll be studying next year. looks like good fun. lost another 15 pounds, and i was asking God ' what are you trying to tell me? or say?' cos i really din know and i knew God had His reasons. still dunno it yet, but my dad's nice, he wasn't really angry at it. i need to get money tmr or else i have no money at the globe theatre. haha. looking forward to tomorrow.

It's National day over at Singapore and its 10 pm, 8th Aug here. haha. You may wonder why i am typing in proper sentences. It is due to the fact that I am been thrice rebuked. But I'll probably change back tomorrow. Why? It is because this is a place where my thoughts run free, and my thoughts like to run in small letters.
Today was good, and i really enjoyed the lessons even more. I am worried about my cash flow, a serious problem in this trip. My dad is in China now, and i just remembered it today. Today just shopped and studied, not much went on. There was a talk on journalism though, it was rather cool. Tomorrow we're going to watch The Tempest :DD I look forward to that. My history essay is still not coming together. I will write it by tonight. I miss everyone back home.

today had a good talk about iago. haha, took time to go thru his motives. then we ate in campus, cup noodles was horrible. bleh bleh bleh. went to town and began our one hr walk to grandchester. haha, all of us walked in front except mr low. lol. haha. went there to eat scones and have tea. yay!!! was quite alright, then we played games w/ mr low like bang bang, what's next?, black magic and other stupid stuff. haha. went back and listened to a talk on evolution. studied history before being dragged away to karaoke night. haha, it was really fun. we sang till 12. lol. today gonna be another fun day. i need to complete hist essay. :(

today started on othello, was good fun, had lots of interesting plots. i like pride and prejudice, the tragedy. haha. was cool to write our own stories. went shopping, bought slippers and also some other stuff. haha, then had this talk about cambridge poets, mr low seems to really enjoy it. did laundry again, haha, we are becoming pros at this. haha, went for a talk anout shakespeare and his relevance, watch some gore and horror, totally scared some ppl off. oh ya, the one who teached us othello is a dr s look alike, haha, maybe she also likes gothic, cos she sorta laughs at the horror scenes we were watching. she was the one giving the talk. yup. then watched shakespeare in love. yaya. i liked it lots. tmr there's a walk to son place, grandchester or smth. its an hr walk, but i think i'll like it. haha, yay! too much stuff to do, haix, dying here. BLEH...

DAY 5
had lesson on critical heritage of jane austen and also about novels to film in the afternoon. was quite fun, last lesson with antonia, she's nice :D saw rabbits outside the window so zoomed in and took some photos. haha, they're really scared of people, so they run away before we can even get near them. went to river island and got some nice stuff (2 pants), then also went to a cheap second hanp shop and got even more nice stuff (2 jackets, 2 books). haha yay!!! really worried bout spending money, cos lost the 50 pounds. bleh. had bbq dinner again then i did laundry with the guys. haha. yay! so mostly clean clothes again. :D then slp cos nxt day got excursion.

was late for breakfast, so only ate cereal. yay, there was frosties today :DDDDDD haha. then took bus to Bath to see the romans bath. we spent more time on coach than at the places. walked thru it quickly ( i will go back there another time) and we went shopping. i got a nice bag, though it wasn't what i wanted, and got some stuff from river island again. haha. we ate BK, which wasn't worth it. bleh. went to stonehenge, it was really nice. ( i took that photo) bought some stuff and we left. another 3 hrs bus ride. we then dropped off at town, ate at this pub like place. the svc was slow and bad, but the food was really good and it was quite cheap too, so it was alright. yup, that was all we did today. haha, tmr start on othello, we shld be more pro. haha

we did laundry today, me , syl, d, & kat. haha, at first there were ppl who din take their clothes out, but when we returned a second time, they took it out le yay! we also oven cooked our own food, there was lots of smoke but ultimately it was eatable haha, and i really liked kath's lasange. yum! had rich dinner rich breakfast too. haha. there was a lesson on creative writing, which was really fun, we had to debate on how austen is NOT feminist, which was not easy, bleh.. haha.
at night went to watch macbeth. i thought it was okay, but mr low thought that they missed lots of good parts. they also took out a quote i liked. gah! haha, it got really cold at night,and i was totally freezing. here comes the part that made me unhappy. I LOST 50 POUNDS = 150 singdollars....... sian sian sian sian sian. why am i so careless. but i really couldn't find it so i just prayed lor. haix.
ah well, i hope all that is well ends well
going out on sunday, YAY!!

more abt day 1. when i entered the airport, i realised that i was one of the few who had small bags, everyone else had big luggages, and they all asked me how i fit my stuff into my small luggage. mine weighed about 13kg, while everyone else was 20+kg. the plane was just very stuffy, sat behind ppl who leaned back as much as they could. bleh.....
day 3. has a rich breakfast today, totally rich in calories. haix, and they are all playing volleyball or smth right now, and obviously i dun really like to excercise, so i think i'm gonna get so fat. gah... today talked about literature of the time, as well as the picturesque of the place. haha, some was fun, some boring. gah, not gonna be going out for the next few days, this is so sad. we went to town and shopped ard, lots of stuff were expensive. tried to buy some stuff but was forbidden by kathleen, deirdre and sylvianne. haha, they say i spendthrift. had a rich dinner too. it's just too much. i can't wait to watch macbeth, though its tragedy, no my kinda thing, but think that it'll be good. i wanna try to watch all of the plays in the other colleges as well. twelfth night, midsummer's night dream as well as the tempest. tempest is sorta compulsary, cos doing it next year, but the other two are really nice. hope to get to see the plays. oh ya, we had a photoshoot today.
gonna start doing work now, haha i'm so dead.

day one was just a 13 hr flight and a 2hr plus bus ride. really insane, wasted our time and the time was really warped.
day 2, we had good breakfast (YAY! there was cornflakes) and then we had lit lesson. it was P7P first, and most ppl hadn't completed reading it. it is so insane, cos like we thought it was next wk and they just switched the itinery around. haha. then we went to cambrigde town, lots and lots of stuff there. gonna go back a few times, look at colleges as well as shop ard. had bbq dinner. yayness. haha
weather is aircon temp, gets colder at night. sun rises at 5am and sets at 9pm. this is insane, and i like the petrol kiosk. haha its BP, where it disappeared frm s'pore. still have a lil jet lag. internet access still not up so now using the computer room's com. its must faster than mj. haha. there are lots of hallways here, very long walks. it's really cool :D
